What is a bad tip or some bad advice you found on the Internet?
My answer: I read on the Internet that cut flowers will last longer if you add vinegar to the water. So I did and the next morning all of my beautiful daffodils were drooped over the sides of the vase. (It is possible that I might have added too much vinegar to the water. I should have tried it with just one flower first.)

I do know however that if you put a penny in the water with cut tulips the tulip stay perky. I've tried it and it does work.
