The Simple Woman's Daybook Meme

The Simple Woman's Daybook Meme

For Today - June 2nd

Outside my window... are millions of dandelions that need to be mowed.

I am thinking... that I need to clean, but I'd rather not.

I am thankful for... God's patience with me. I should extend the same kind of patience to others.

From the kitchen... we're having roast tonight! I've been saving it and today I'm in the mood to eat it.

I am wearing... one of the same old outfits. But at least it fits and is clean.

I am creating... a small garden in containers.

I am going... to force myself to go for a walk today, before it rains.

I am reading... Lose it for Life by Stephen Arterburn.

I am hoping... to make brownies tonight. (That kind of contradicts reading Lose it for Life.)

I am hearing... baby common grackles chirping for their mama.

Around the house... are undone projects. I need to get the winter clothes put away.

One of my favorite things... is living in a place where the summers are mild.

A few plans for the rest of the week... are to finish up the school year and start relaxing.

Here are the picture thoughts I am sharing...

I too am gardening in containers this year. We have three different varieties of tomatoes (just one of each) in a grow bag, a hanging basket and a small trough with herbs in them, a second hanging basket which needs replanting with herbs because it died and a couple of containers with cut and come again salad leaves.
I was late signing the linky for the day book but I have done it now.

The photos are beautiful and I can relate to 'forcing' yourself to go for a walk .... I get off to a good start for a couple of evenings and then I let it slide :o(

Sounds like you had a wonderful day!
